Who We Are
Somos Chicanx Socialistas. We began this project in 2023 when we recognized that our Raza desperately need political education and community organizing that is more than symbolic gestures.
Socialist Aztlan y Anahuac & the Right to Self-Determination
We fight for a Socialist Aztlan y Anahuac—a liberated territory where the Chicanx Nation and all colonized nations in colonized Anahuac to exercise sovereignty over their land, labor, and cultural destiny.
We assert that Aztlán is not a myth—it is the living struggle for autonomy by the Chicanx people in the occupied Southwest.
Anahuac, the ancestral name for the land colonially termed “the Americas.”
Our vision includes:
A Union of Free Socialist Nations: The Unity of Aztlan, the 500 recognized federal tribes, the 400+ un-recognized tribes and the New Afrikan Nation.
- Land Back: Dismantling settler-colonial property relations, returning stolen lands to Indigenous Nations including the Chicanx Nation, and Land Reparations for the New Afrikan Nation (Liberation of the Black Belt)
- Workers’ Power: Collective ownership of industry and resources
- Internationalism: Solidarity with global anti-imperialist struggles, from Palestine to the Congo, from Sudan to Russia
Liberation means abolishing the U.S. empire’s grip on our people. It means:
- Abolish ICE
- Abolish the Police
- Abolish the Prisons
- Abolish the Courts
- Abolish the Congress
- Abolish ALL the Tools of the U$ Empire.
All structures of Settler control to be abolished and all Power Returned to the People. For this to happen the people must be educated and organized. That is the mission of Nuevo Partido Brown Berets.
Rejecting Assimilation: Cultural Revitalization as Resistance
The U$ Settler Empire seeks to erase Chicanxs through assimilation, branding us as “Hispanic” or “Latino” to sever ties to our Indigeneity. We refuse this cultural genocide.
We are not ethnic minorities begging for inclusion. We are a colonized nation demanding self-determination.
Smashing Chauvinism: Feminist & Queer Liberation Front
As capitalism uses fascism to control the masses we see the attacks on womxn and queer people increase. NPBB recognize that patriarchy and machismo are tools of colonial control, imported to divide our people. Our cadre condemns these poisons.
Join the Struggle: Membership & Survival Programs
Membership Requirements:
- Commitment to Study: Complete our Chicanx Marxist-Leninist program.
- Organizing Labor: Participate in weekly cadre meetings, community organizing, and direct action.
- Accountability: Uphold our code of conduct, reject all forms of supremacy, chauvinism or individualism.
Survival Programs:
- Community Organizing: Using survival programs as tools to deliver political education and build sustainable dual power.
- Free Children’s Breakfast Program: Free meals for families, funded by collective projects.
- AgitProp: Working to organize protests, and mass political education efforts.
Study Sessions Open to All:
Every other Sunday, we analyze texts like “The Right of Nations to Self Determination” and “Chicanos del Norte”, bridging theory with on-the-ground struggle.
